Ballymun Youthreach was the venue for the VEC Inservice during the recent mid-term break. We hosted workshops in Communications, Sex Education and Jewellery making. The events were all well attended and we would like to thank both the facilitators and the participants for taking part.
Counsellor rejoins the Centre
We are pleased to announce that Pauline Fleming has returned to the Centre in her role as student counsellor. Pauline will resume her duties from February and is welcomed back by students and staff alike.
Students start boxing certificates
We are pleased to announce that five students from the Centre have completed their Bronze Certificate with Dublin City Council. The students have been training with former Olympic gold medallist Michael Carruth. The five students Eoin O’Grady, Ryan Whittaker, Shaun Burns, Liam Neeson and Thomas Stokes are now undertaking their silver medal training and will be fighting in the main boxing arena of the National Stadium on March 30th at 7.30. Admission is free and all are welcome to cheer our boys on.
