It was with great pleasure that Ballymun Youthreach accepted their invite to be presented with a national flag and copy of the Proclamation in line with our preparations for the celebrations of the anniversary of the Easter Rising.
The ceremony in Croke Park was presented by Ryan Tubridy and the invited crowd were addressed by the President Michael D. Higgins. President Higgins spoke of the importance of future generations on the next hundred years of our State. Also in attendance were Minister Heather Humphries and various sports personalities including Packie Bonner and Olympian Paddy Barnes. Mark Fleming, Rebecca Colclough and Jade Foley represented Youthreach along with Lionel, Joe, Fiona and Bernie.
